AND THEY’RE OFF!!!

Springtime is Derby time so add some excitement to your venue by adding a derby event game to your lineup. Create a “Kentucky Derby” theme in your venue. Encourage your players to wear their best hat. Have players vote for the most original by applause, and offer a prize to the winner.

Add the excitement of horse racing to your bingo hall by playing derby games! Also called racehorse, downline or horse race tickets, they’re simple to play and add a great new twist to any game. Players will love the new format of play as a fun option with several ways to win.

  • For the most action, play these games using a *flashboard: a) during your session, partnered with a designated bingo game, or b) as a separate stand-alone game, great for early birds or during breaks. (*WHERE LEGAL-CHECK YOUR STATES GAMING LAWS)
  • Sell all the tickets in the deal. The caller announces the play of the derby on the next bingo game or flashboard call.
  • Pay instant tickets out immediately as normal. The winning amount is printed on the inside of the ticket. Then there are two more ways to win: horse holders and bingo ball holders!

HORSE HOLDERS: The deal includes hold tickets with horses numbered 1 to 15 to represent all of the first row on the flashboard, or potential calls B1 through B15. The holder of the horse number that corresponds with the first downline completed is the horse winner.

For example, if the downline is as shown on this flashboard, the horse winner is the player with the 11 horse hold ticket.

DOWNLINE DERBY GAMES: Try adding even more variety with derby games. These games, offer similar play to regular derby games, but with unique symbols and different holder options.

BINGO BALL/NUMBER HOLDERS: The deal also includes hold tickets with bingo balls numbered 1 to 75, representing every number on the flashboard. The player that holds the ticket matching the last ball called wins. Using the downline example shown on the flashboard above: if the last number called to complete the downline was B7, the player with the bingo ball hold card showing the B7 ball wins!

Race Horse Downs plays just like a regular derby game. EXCEPT there are even more prize levels, even more excitement, and more winners. This encourages more players...and more profit!
