Bingo Game Ideas to Try at your Next Bingo Event: Sweet Sixteen

Sometimes playing the same rotation of games can become boring for you and your players. Keeping your game ideas fresh can be beneficial, in that it gives your players the opportunity to learn and try different bingo games. This could, in turn, attract new players or encourage current players to keep returning to your events. You might find your next big bingo hit! Check out this bingo game you may not have tried yet:

 Sweet Sixteen

Did you know Arrow Games and Bazaar & Novelty developed different winning lines? The “Sweet Sixteen” lines were created in response to survey results, in which many players expressed displeasure for having so many winners in a single game during traditional bingo paper games. These were created to statistically decrease the number of winners that occur in a single bingo game. In order to make games more enjoyable and give some variety, these four variations were introduced:

  1. Four Corners: The four corner squares
  2. Inside Four Corners: The four squares diagonal to the free square (2nd and 4th “I” squares, 2nd and 4th “G” squares)
  3. Inside Diamond: The other 4 squares around the free square (3rd “I” square, the squares immediately above and below the free square in the “N” column, and the 3rd “G” square)
  4. Diamond: The 3rd “B” square, the top and bottom “N” squares, and the 3rd “O” square

Sweet Sixteen adds interest and variety to the standard 12-line Bingo game, and is an excellent way to increase the player satisfaction through fewer shared smaller pots and giving them more potential ways to win, generating more excitement in your bingo hall! Be sure to download the Sweet Sixteen graphic in our Advertisiment Resources to help advertise and promote the lines, and also to help players remember the line patterns. Good luck!
