Earlier this month, the Clearbrook human services nonprofit in Arlington Heights, Illinois tried something new while fundraising for their programs and services: Bingo! Held at the Arlington Ale House, more than 200 people attended to play bingo and contribute to the cause, a pleasant surprise for event coordinators.
President and CEO of Clearbrook Tony Di Vittorio, was pleased with the success of the event, both entertaining players and bringing funds and exposure to the nonprofit.
Can you think of a nonprofit organization that could benefit from charitable gaming? Planning a simple bingo event might be a great idea, and could lead to a more permanent fundraising fixture that brings in consistent donations!
