A Michigan school district made the best of their cold day school cancellations by combining social media and some good old-fashioned bingo. Students were given a bingo board with different fun activities, such as "Read with a Stuffed Animal," and encouraged to post photos on social media with the hashtag "#onegpcolddays."

This could be an awesome bingo hall activity! Make a bingo board and post it on your social media accounts, or send a printed bingo board home with your players one week. Then, have them post photos to their social media, tagging you or using a set hashtag. If a player completes a bingo, offer a free concession or one free game-play at your next bingo event. Bingo squares can include things like "Playing in the snow," or "Making hot chocolate." Whatever it is, players will have fun posting shots of them completing the bingo activities, and your social media accounts will receive more exposure as different players tag you or use your hashtag.
