Maggie O'Neill, DC-based artist known for her brightly-colored impressionist paintings of DC Monuments, hosted an interactive exhibit titled "Let's Play," on the rooftop of DC's Union Market on July 28.
As part of this exhibit, visitors were encouraged to play as "human game pieces" in a game of life-sized bingo, while others played along on individual bingo boards. In addition to giant bingo, O'Neill's bingo-themed art pieces were available for purchase to benefit Washington DC's Children's National Health System. Colorful ice cream cones painted atop used and dabbed bingo paper evoke some serious summertime nostalgia, and we must say, they're pretty magical: See her bingo illustrations on her website.
