The District II State of Texas Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, commanded by the remarkable Debra Christian, has introduced a new weekly bingo activity to the community, with proceeds going towards veteran benefits.
Christian holds this cause close to her heart, after caring for her father and working to secure his benefits as a vet. She explains how difficult it can be for someone who has no support to navigate civilian life after discharge, and now helps other veterans with nowhere to go and no one to help them.
