The Wilcox Oaks Golf Club in Tehama County, California, hosts a monthly bingo night, in which they benefit various county organizations. In April, their bingo night raised funds for the Tehama County Sheriff's K-9 Unit, topping out at $1,100 donated. According to the National Police Dog Foundation, these kinds of donations help to train, cover medical expenses, and insure police K-9s.
